Privacy Policy
Routia (the "App") is an iOS app that helps you plan and follow routes for day outings. This policy explains what information the App handles and how it is used.
1. No account required
You do not need to create an account to use the App. We do not collect registration details such as your name or email address.
2. Location
The App uses your device's location to search for nearby places and to order the stops in a route. Location access requires your consent via the OS permission dialog. Coordinates are sent to our server and to Google Maps Platform (see below) to perform searches, but our server does not store a history of your location.
3. Data sent to external services
- Google Maps Platform (Google LLC) — Search coordinates and search terms are sent to Google via our server for place search, map display, and route calculation. Google's privacy policy applies.
- RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) — Used to manage the purchase state of the Routia Pro subscription. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID; the App does not transmit personal details such as your name.
- Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) — Used for crash reporting to help us find and fix bugs. The App is configured not to send personally identifiable information such as precise location, place names, or free-text input.
4. Where routes and favorites are stored
Routes you create and places you favorite are stored only on your device. They are not stored on our server, and they are deleted when you delete the App.
5. Usage records
To manage free-plan usage limits and improve quality, our server records an anonymous per-device identifier and usage counts. This identifier cannot be used to identify you personally. We do not keep behavioral logs (such as which places you searched for or visited).
6. Sharing with third parties
We do not provide collected information to third parties except as required by law.
